Calf Implant Surgery

Calf Implants, also called Calf Augmentation is a procedure that gives the appearance of larger muscles of the lower legs and can also be used to correct defects in the legs.

Calf Implants have become increasingly popular in the past few years primarily in males looking for larger calf muscles to balance out the proportions of their bodies.

Calf implants correct uneven or irregular aspects of the legs, in both aesthetic and reparatory surgery.

Silimed has the widest range of calf implants designed to meet most reparatory and aesthetic needs.

This calf implant is made of a low-bleed silicone shell and is available in both a smooth or textured surface. It is filled with high-performance Biodesign silicone gel in the necessary consistency and resistance for the region where it will be implanted.

It is used to correct unevenness or irregularities in the calf including poliomyelitis, congenital malformation and trauma. It is offered in both symmetrical and asymmetrical styles and comes in a variety of sizes.

Calf implants are increasingly being used for aesthetic surgery, The scars from this procedure are small and usually well hidden in the skin fold behind the knee.
